7. PEACEPARK

Because we value the Word of God, stewardship, and beauty, the city of Baltimore, and because we value one another; we are learning to consider Stillmeadow PeacePark as a clear and singular gift from above! Having 10 acres of forest, in which we have been able to develop walking paths, meditation stations, an apiary, and the ongoing pleasure of partnership with a wide group of EFCA churches, local organizations, and government entities. One of our goals is to develop a healthy model of collaboration for the multi-level development of a community.

But, the main focus of the PeacePark is to promote a “creation-connected” focus on spiritual health including spiritual disciplines (such as prayer, gratitude, meditation, fasting, silence, celebration), physical discipline, and communion. The result of all this activity is in Matthew 5:13-14

“In the same way let your light so shine before others, so that they may see your good works and give glory to your Father who is in heaven.” In the proceeding verses it reads: “14 You are the light of the world. A city set on a hill cannot be hidden.”
