Dear Stillmeadowans and Community Friends,

As Elders, our prayers are with all of the members of our family at Stillmeadow, and the people of the community who have come to rely on us.

We find ourselves now in circumstances that were unthinkable only a month ago. We remember our recent Saturday Direction and Execution Gatherings where we planned a whole year of activities to spread the word and help those in need in the community. No one could have guessed then how our circumstances and needs -- and opportunities -- would change so rapidly. Now we are prevented from even meeting together as a church for at least next couple of weeks.

We remain, however, a body of believers committed to each other. As such, we ask first that we continue to pray for each other. We also ask that those who find themselves in need to ask for help. We cannot help, if we are not aware of the need. We are still trying to serve our community. The food ministry continues and we are exploring what options our status as a resiliency center offers.  While all services have been suspended, we are posting videos on the Stillmeadow.community website and we remain in constant contact through text. It is important to remain in contact.

It is also important to keep giving. As R. Braunstein said, "It is possible to give without loving, but it is impossible to love without giving."

Brothers and Sisters, we are aware that this once in a lifetime crisis have left many of us in need. But we do call upon all of you that can to continue to bless the church in your giving. Give as your circumstances allow and when you have little, pray all the more. God's work continues, especially in such times, and His people are the vehicle of His blessings.

God bless, and please stay safe.
